About Christmas in August
This film explores how Jung Wong chooses to spend the last days of his life. He chooses to stay in his little photo shop. Everyday, different customers walk in and he, never one to speak much, just stands behind his counter and watches calmly. His life goes on as if it were a dream.
One day, Darim walks in. They fall in love. She waits for Jung Won to say those three beautiful words, "I love you". But he would never say them because he knows he has to go very soon. Darim, though, knows nothing of his illness. And finally he goes away, leaving his family, his friends and the woman he loves but can't tell.
