About Buddhist Ascetic Mandara, A
Even if as many six years has already elapsed after a Buddhist priest Beob-Wun enters the priesthood, he still thinks of his previous lover (Young-Ju). He encounters a humble Buddhist priest named Ji-San who is not registered at the priest's register. Since then, he falls in bigger conflict and agony. Both Beob-Wun and Ji-San fight mentally. Sometimes, Ji-San looks like a Buddha, or otherwise a patient in the world, and dies at a snowy mountains. After burning Ji-San's corpse into ashes, Beob-Wun visits not only his mother but also Ji-San's previous lover (Ok-Sun). He confirms again that all of the human relations in the world are groundless, and then resumes ascetic's way.
