About March of Happiness
It is 1945, in Japanese-occupied Taiwan. A young actress named A-yu meets and falls in love with a musician who studied in Japan. But A-yu's father pressures her to marry a doctor's son. The start of bombing by the Allied Forces separates the lovers, but they continue their relationship through letters. "March of Happiness" is the story of young love in a tumultuous era.
