About Cheng-Sheng Lin
Born in 1959 in a remote village in eastern Taiwan. Lin enrolled in directing/scripting workshop in 1986 and began making documentaries. After his directorial debut with A Drifting Life in 1996. Lin made his second feature Murmur of Youth Which screened in the Director’s Fortnight section at the Cannes Film Festival in 1997. His third feature film sweet Degeneration was shown at the 3rd PIFF.
