About Story of Hoho
Ka-Sil marries Man-Seok because of the medical expenses of her ill father. However, she is expelled, because she meets Bau in secret. After Man-Seok follows the ginseng diggers, he does not come back home any more. Her mother-in-Raw dies and she lives with the scoundrel Ddeok-Soe, the salted shrimp seller. When Man-Seok comes back home, he is disappointed with the betrayal of Ka-Sil, and goes a long way again. Ka-Sil is expelled from Ddeok-Soe and becomes a surrogate woman for the rich Choi. However, after she gives birth to a girl, she is expelled again. When Man-Seok returns home as a rich man, Ka-Sil already killed herself from the shame. Man-Seok decides to raise the daughter of Mr. Choi, Kanani, in front of the grave of Ka-Sil.
