Eighteen-year-old Xiao Mai (Angela Zhang) is just a normal happy-go-lucky girl from a middle-class family. She likes to dream about becoming a princess, but she could have never imagined that she is actually the long-lost granddaughter of the richest man in Taiwan. Suddenly swirled into a life of luxury, Xiao Mai realizes that being an heiress is not what it's cut out to be. Forced to leave her adopted parents, she feels lonely and out of place in her grandfather's vast mansion. To make thing worse, company heir Nan Feng Jin (Wu Chun) has Xiao Mai pegged as a gold digger and makes life difficult for her from day one. The two can barely be in the same room without fighting, but Xiao Mai's grandfather is set on playing matchmaker.
