Volume 4 of "Seoul Through Pictures" contains photographs of Seoul from the coup of May 16, 1961 to 1970. The 1960s was a dynamic period. Seoul experienced the April 19 Revolution of 1960 and the coup of May 16, 1961, as well as beginning the process of industrialization through the Five Year Economic Development Plan. During this time, Seoul brought about the "Miracle of the Han River," which astonished the world with its rapid economic development and was at the very heart of the rapid and massive transformations. This book is divided into sections on politics, economics, and society. Each part has subdivisions for the layout of historical descriptions and photographs. Through this book, readers will be able to share Seoul's history, economic developments and culture from the 1960s.
