About U-Wei Bin HAJISAARI
Born in 1954 in ruralMalaysia, writer/director U Wei Bin Hajisaari has written and directed four feature films : Women, Wife and Whore, Black Widow, The Arsonist and Jogho. U Wei was the first Malayian filmmaker invied to show his work at Cannes, where The Arsonist screened. U wei is also known for his stage production of Euripides The Bacchae from his own Malay translation
