Jo Deul Ho (Park Shin Yang) came from a poor background but has worked hard to become an attorney and now has everything going for him. He is a rising star prosecutor who is married to Jung Hae Kyung (Park Sol Mi), the daughter of the owner of a powerful law firm. But when Deul Ho witnesses widespread corruption in the prosecutor’s office, he can’t stand by and do nothing. Deul Ho becomes a whistleblower but ends up losing everything — his career, his family and his wife, who divorces him. After three dark years, Deul Ho decides to pick up the pieces of his life and open up his own neighborhood law office to protect innocent people from the vicious legal system.
Lee Eun Jo (Kang So Ra) is a young attorney who has become disillusioned with her career. When she meets Deul Ho, she decides to go work for him in his law practice and finds a renewed passion for her work. Shin Ji Wook (Ryu Soo Young) is a prosecutor who used to be one of Deul Ho’s closest allies until the scandal that rocked the department and must now face his old friend in the courtroom against his clients. Will Deul Ho find that he is now on the right side of the law?
