A drama about Korean cuisine.

Set within the backdrop of a traditional royal cuisine restaurant named Arirang, ¡°Feast of the Gods¡± depicts how two women grow as chefs through competitions with each other.

The drama tells a story about Joon Young, who inherits the brilliant cooking skills of her mother and embarks on a path of dazzling success.
Then there is In-joo who wishes to be like her mother and makes tremendous efforts to surpass her rival, Joon Young. The rivalry between the two women takes place at the Arirang, which is Korea's top authentic cuisine restaurant. The characters find individual happiness through the foods they cook and serve at the restaurant. And they create delightful and divine foods amidst the antagonism and reconciliation, all for the love of food. The sparks fly in the tension between the two women over who will eventually control the Arirang restaurant.
Two women grew up with food as a focal point in their lives - but one led the life the other should have had. Fate brings the two women together in adulthood to compete for the coveted position as executive chef of Arirang Restaurant, a national bastion of traditional Korean cuisine. Go Joon Young (Sung Yu Ri), the real daughter of Arirang's executive chef, Sung Doo Hee (Jun In Hwa), was lost at sea when she was 4 and presumed dead, but she was saved by a couple and raised in a remote fishing village. Song Yeon Woo (Seo Hyun Jin), who lost her mother in the same boating accident that claimed Doo Hee's daughter, Ha In Joo, assumes In Joo's identity and trains diligently as a chef at Arirang under Doo Hee. Dating Choi Jae Ha (Joo Sang Wook), the master chef's grandson, In Joo is the heir apparent to become the next executive chef at Arirang, but the appearance of two strangers threaten to take away everything she has worked so hard for. The mysterious Kim Do Yoon (Lee Sang Woo), a chef at a competing restaurant, knows her true identity after she blurted it out to him after leaving a nightclub together. And Joon Young - the real In Joo - fortuitously works her way into a professional kitchen although she has no formal culinary training. When the true daughter of culinary royalty faces off against the woman who was groomed in her place, who will emerge victorious? "Feast of the Gods" is a 2012 South Korean drama series directed by Lee Dong Yoon.
