An elaborate lie leads to sizzling love in the SBS romantic comedy Lie to Me. It's all about the romantic chemistry between Yoon Eun Hye and Kang Ji Hwan in this lighthearted romantic comedy about a fake marriage that blossoms into real love. Jo Yoon Hee (Spotlight) co-stars as the ex-girlfriend, while up-and-coming actor Sung Joon (White Christmas) plays Kang Ji Hwan's younger brother and romantic rival.
Spunky civil servant Ah Jung (Yoon Eun Hye : Coffee Prince , Princess hour , My Fair lady ) is nearing thirty and still single, not to mention prone to embarrassing accidents. She's already having a bad day when she bumps into her frenemy So Ran (Hong Soo Hyun, The Princess' Man). Back in her college days, Ah Jung was in love with Jae Bum (Ryu Seung Soo), but So Ran shamelessly stole him away. Now they're (seemingly) happily married, and So Ran is more than delighted to rub it in. Her ego bruised, Ah Jung impulsively lies to So Ran that she too is married. The next day, Ah Jung has a public run-in with perfectionist hotel CEO Ki Joon (Kang Ji Hwan : Coffee house , Be Strong Geum Soon , Hong Gil Dong ), and one of her friends happens to see it. Rumors spiral and spread at lightning speed, and by the next day everyone knows that Ah Jung is married ... to Ki Joon!
