About Parallel Life
1. Filming began late October, 2008.
2. "Parallel Life" takes root from the parallel life theory. One of the more famous urban legends that arose from this idea are the coincidental nature of the lives of U.S. Presidents Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy. Both presidents had 7 letter last names, were elected to the senate 100 years apart (Lincoln in 1846 & Kennedy in 1946), became presidents 100 years apart (Lincoln in 1860 & Kennedy in 1960) and both were assassinated on Fridays, with Lincoln killed in Ford Theatre & Kennedy killed in a Ford vehicle. Both presidents were succeeded by another president named Johnson who were born a 100 years apart (Andrew Johnson born in 1808 and Lyndon B. Johnson born in 1908).

Kim Seok-Hyeon (Ji Jin Hee : Jewel in the Palace , Love Letter , Spring days) becomes Korea¡¯s youngest appointed criminal court judge at the age of 36. He's famous for his rational rulings. Kim Seok-Hyeon also has a beautiful wife (Yoon Se Ah ) and a daughter.

His near perfect life crumbles when his wife is brutally murdered. A man named Jang Su-Yeong (Ha Jung Woo), who had a vendetta against Kim Seok-Hyeon for a prior ruling, quickly becomes the primary suspect and the case is close.

A reporter then approaches the grieving Kim Seok-Hyeon and points out the amazing similarities between Seok-Hyeon's life and a judge from 30 years ago named Han Sang-Jun. The judge from 30 years ago was also appointed the youngest criminal court judge, graduated as valedictorian from the same high school, and also lost his wife & daughter in a brutal murder. These events seemed to have occurred in exact 30 year intervals.

Now if this "Parallel Life Theory" holds to form, Jang Su-Yeong will escape from prison in 16 days and murder his daughter ...
KIM Suk-hyun is Korea's youngest appointed criminal court head judge, very famous for his rational rulings. It is before his court that the case of distinguished mathematics professor SOHn Ki-chul¡¯s murder of his wife is presented. While examining SOHn's file, Suk-hyun finds SOHn's life unbelievably parallels Kurt Godel¡¯s. But KIM believes fate is what one makes of it, and just regards SOHn as a crazy old professor who killed his wife.

One day, Suk-hyun gets a strange phone call threatening the lives of his wife, yoon-kyung,and his young daughter. Before long, yoon-kyung turns up dead, and SOHn dies of starvation-just like Godel.
