About Ban Geum-Ryeon
In China, a polygyny system was once adopted. Seo Mun-Kyeong is a rich man to sell salt. By making use of Suh's ability, the governor of the town destroys the families of Hwa Ja-Heo and Hwang Mu-Dae. Seo feels much angry when Hwa's wife (Byeong-Ah) hides herself together with Hwa as if she were dead. Seo also attempts to deprive Pan Keum-Ryeon who is Hwang Mu-Dae's wife. Hwang is killed by the plot of Pan and Suh. Pan becomes a mistress of Seo to hurt another mistress, for example, Chun-Ae or Kyo-Ah. Byeong-Ah is brought to Seo and delivers a baby. Byeong-Ah and her maternal family die of Pan's plot. Seo dies of taking excessive medicine. Pan also follows her husband's way.
