About Green Sleeves
Jong-Won whose father was once a partisan voluntarily joins the army that is dispatched in Vietnam. As he encounters miserable deaths of his comrades, he becomes skeptical about the war and feels pity for new life at the same time. The deeper he gets congenial spirits in the battlefields during life and death combats, the more he feels hostility against the enemy. When he is caught and becomes prisoner of war by Viet Con, Jong-Won meets Min, an intellectual Viet Con and his sister Ray. He experiences a subtle homogeneity with them as the nation of same minor power. Also he suffers from aimless massacre. He finally falls in love with Ray who he saved from an assault of a US soldier.
