About In Our Time
In Our Time presents four time-distinct stories of Taiwan. In the 1960s, Mau lives in a world of solitude, and forming a friendship with a young woman does little to bring him into the world of the living. Also in the 60s, a young girl learns first hand about the pains of growing up and emotional scars. In the 1970s, college student Du feels caught between dreams and reality until he discovers competitive swimming. And a young couple in the 1980s move into a new home, only to come face to face with a crisis of identity.
