Shin Seong-Min, a medical doctor, feels angry to hear that his daughter named Jin-Suk has been killed by an insane man while his wife (Hwa-Ja) spends time with an eye doctor (Park Dong-Won). The criminal Heo Dal kills himself leaving his daughter (Su-Jin) because he feels guilty. Doctor Shin brings Heo's daughter from an infant caring institution and brings up her.
