About Collective Flat
Hotel Victory is taken over by the National Liberation Front troops as Saigon is liberated. Tham, a servant of the boss of the Hotel, continues to work at the hotel and loves the people who live in the flat - a Collective Flat. As the economy prospers, the Government decides to renovate the flat and turn it into a hotel. 'The family' are offered gold to move elsewhere, which makes them happy, but Tham alone feels distressed.
