About Fairy of Night
A botanist In-Cheol climbs up the mountain for research investigation. There, he meets Jin-Suk who lives in the mountain villa and, at her father's asking, comes to stay with them. One day, a snake-catcher is lured and caught by Sang-Do and is used as the object for vivisection. Being suspicious of their behavior, In-Cheol investigates about them and is caught by them. And, thus when he is about to be used as a vivisection object, a young mountaineer and Jin-Suk rescues him. Sang-Do confesses that the nightmare of his young days when he was dragged to the Japanese army and was compelled to conduct vivisection has consequently made him a murderer. He kills himself and In-Cheol and Ji-Suk leave the villa.
