About Fish Out of the Water
Mi-Young lives a poor life because her father has left home and the eldest son Min-Wu suffers from brain tumor and mother from chronic disease. She quits the school and gets employed in a dissolute room saloon. When mother passes away, she becomes the head of house. Sang-Ho helps her to hospitalize her brother Min-Wu in Samyuk Rehabilitate Center. But her younger brother Min-Su is caught by acute pneumonia. Anguishing over it, she throws herself into the den of prostitute, but this time too, Sang-Ho rescues her. In order to live on, Mi-Young decides to send Min-Su to the other home's adopted son, but Min-Wu comes back in healthy state discharged from the rehabilitate center. With the neighborhood's encouragement, they begin a new life.
