About Arirang
Two American soldiers hides in Young--Jin's stable under the North communist's occupation. By that time, Young--Jin's house is being watched for insane Young--Jin and his father tries to report the American soldiers. Instead, however, thanks to Young--Hee's persuasion, they decide to hide and heal the soldiers. One day, a communist Ki-Ho who's loved Young--Hee finds out this and threatens Young--Hee to inform of it if not she accept his love. But she rejects his suggestion and runs away with the American soldiers to the mountain being followed by Ki-Ho and the Communists. The very moment when insane Young--Jin shoots Ki-Ho to death, he recover himself and the other communists are wiped out by the Korean military force.
