About Song of Hometown
A wealthy man Choi's daughter Sin-Jae loves a poor youth Seon-Kyeong-, but considering the big gulf of wealth between them, Seon-Kyeong- do not accept her love. When the Korean War occurs, Seon-Kyeong- enters military service. On his way of retreat, he temporarily visits hometown and rescue Sin-Jae the very moment when she's about to be killed by a steward's daughter Sang-Hee. Sin-Jae becomes a nurse officer and meets Seon-Kyeong- hospitalized with a cut off leg. She encourages him and heals the wound in his mind. They return their hometown and do their best to rebuild the village and enlighten the people.
