About Human Pier, A
The chief engineer of an ocean-going ship who fails in his marriage drinks down his loneliness. One day he is confined in the basement after being lynched by smugglers, because he rejected their request to participate in the smuggle. A proprietress who loves him rescues him from the basement. He plans to avenge himself on them before his wound is healed. Finally he catches all of them.
