About Chivalrous Robber Il Ji-Mae, The
The hero lost his parents because of an intrigue of villainous courtiers when he was young. He becomes the chivalrous robber Il Ji-Mae to help the poor by stealing the fortune of corrupt officials. After he revenges himself on his parents, Il Ji-Mae seeks refuge with a house of Kisaeng. The Kisaeng is the woman with whom he promised to marry when they young. She lost her parents because of an intrigue of villainous courtiers too. She clings to him, but Il Ji-Mae, who has many things to do, shakes himself free from her hand and runs off.
