About Milyang Arirang
The son of a noble family in Milyang goes to Seoul to take the civil service examination. His fiancee Arang is killed to keep her virginity, when an official, who is greedy for her, attempts to rape her. After that when the hero passes the examination and starts for his new position in this town, he punishes the official and consoles her dead soul.
