At the end of Japanese colonial days, Park Dong-Shik and his group, arrested for robbing a bank, succeeds in escaping from the jail. But Kim Kwang-Il is dead and injured Song, an old man, is arrested again. Dong-Shik finds out a large amount of money hidden in a secret place and leaves for Manchuria to participate in the independence movement, asking the other members to deliver Kwang-Il and Song' portion to them. Several years later, returning to Seoul after the liberation, Dong-Shik finds out the fact that the other members killed Kwang-Il's parents and Song and pocketed their portion. And, their brutality made Sun-Ok mad, to whom Dong-Shik had promised the marriage. Full of rage, Dong-Shik starts his revenge. After all, all the wicked are gone and Doing-Shik dies in front of Sun-Ok, who got back to the normal.
