Jeong-Shik, bron as an orphan, escapes from orphanage with only one resolution to make money at his tender age and jumps into the world. After wandering about the street, Jeong-Seok gets tired and steals a bread. When he is insulted by the baker, Jeong-Seok gets out of the crisis thanks to Seong-Kyu's help. Hearing his situations, Seong-Kyu offers Jeong-Shik to live in his house with Min-Wuk. One day Min-Wuk, Seong-Kyu and Jeong-Shik are invited to the birthday party of Sumi, a friend of Min-Wuk's girl friend, Hye-Ryeon who majors in music. But Seong-Kyu and Jeong-Shik end up getting out of there due to Sumi's brother Kang-Cheol's cross temper. Little Jeong-Shik firmly determines to make money while he wants to have mom and dad. This hope shakes his heart. He begins to earn money by shining shoes with help of Seong-Kyu who is a minor labor of a factory. Meanwhile Min-Wuk determines to take revenge on Kang-Cheol who deprived Hye-Ryeon from him and deserted her mercilessly, but he can't defeat Kang-Cheol and rather he dies miserably.
