The farmhand Salmosa is running away after stealing a radish. On the way, he helps Sun-Sim to chop wood. When he hears that she becomes the mistress of Choi Jinsa because of money, he tries to make money for her. He wins prize money because he arrests Heukdukeon. However, he succumbs to temptation of Wol-Seon and loses money. He wins prize money in the drinking contest and goes to Choi Jinsa, but Choi Jinsa asks him for interest. Meanwhile, the Kisaeng Hyang-Sim and Wol-Hyang, who are fascinated by his strength, rescue him from beating. Finally, he wins in a bet with Choi Jinsa. When Sun-Sim proposes him to marry, he rejects it and goes a long way.
