About Deul Byongi
Myo-Hwa is sold by Shin Yu-Hak because of poverty. However, she suffers from a sexual abuse. She runs away with the farmhand Bong-Pil, and Shin Yu-Hak traces them. Myo-Hwa sells alchohol, and Bong-Pil, who indulges in gambling, treats her ill. They move to a town in the sea, but Bong-Pil is close to Mak-Chang in an inn. Myo-Hwa attempts to kill herself, but in vain. She takes advantage of the farmhand Pak-Jo in order to revenge on Bong-Pil and Mak-Chang. On the other hand, Mak-Chang leaves Bong-Pil, who is addicted to drug, behind, and Shin Yu-Hak kills Bong-Pil finally. Shin Yu-Hak forgives Myo-Hwa, but she wanders from here to here selling her body.
