About People at Dark Streets, The
A prostitute (Young-Ae) let her daughter die of the disease because she is in short of money. Since then, she adheres to the money excessively to make her fellows hate her. When a prostitute, whose nick name is Kwangwon Province woman, dies after delivering her baby, Young-Ae takes care of the baby on her behalf. For the sake of the baby, she escapes from the prostitute village. She lives difficult life to support the child. Unfortunately, she is deprived of the child according to the Law of Children Protection that the baby should be taken care by the home that parents exist. She thinks that the prostitute village can create neither wellbeing nor misfortune, and is no more than a site for living. She returns to a prostitute village.
