About Frailty, Thy Name is Man
Mr. and Mrs. Somebody have two sons-in-law, one of whom is kind of a braggart and the other is a sincere researcher who studies car brakes. Mr. Somebody prefers the researcher, the second son-in-law to the first son-in-law. The braggart's business goes bankrupt while the researcher succeeds in developing a new brake and makes lots of money. The gentle researcher helps the braggart pay his debt and wishes he would live sincerely in the future.
