Su-Hee, a college student girl, experiences a great family tragedy owing to her mistake caused by the youth's passion. She loses both father and elder brother, and begins to work in the society to support not only her mother's hospital charge but also nephew's living expense. Her body and spirit have been abused by her lover's betray. She starts to live her life as a barmaid by a woman who saves her life. Even if she makes efforts to live a life very hard, her mother and younger brother die so that she does not admit of the life's value. She becomes free from everything when she dies.
