About North Shaolin & South Taekwon
In the middle of Cheong Dynasty, Kal Ma-Ryong is promoted to the seat of admiral of Bokkeon Castle for the merit of killing a boy Ju Myeong-Cheon who is the descendent of the royal family of Myeong Dynasty. But the one who is killed is an orphan and the real descendent of the royal family runs away from the eyes of Cheong Dynasty. The boy fallen from the cliff is saved by great monk Wun-Kong of the north Shaolin and, 20 years later, becomes an excellent martial artist monk Mu-Sang. Finding out Ju Myeong-Cheon is still alive, Kal Ma-Ryong chases him, and Mu-Sang and Kal Ma-Ryong come to fight desperately. During the fighting, Kal Ma-Ryong happens to see a jape plate on Mu-Sang's chest and at that moment, Mu-Sang's fatal fist strikes Kal Ma-Ryong. The jape plate is the proof that tells Mu-Sang is Kal Ma-Ryrong's real son. Thus his son futilely kills Kal Ma-Ryong.
