About Water Spray
A young woman named Sun-Nyeo is wife of a fisherman named Il-Ryeol and lives her life at servant room of Ji Cho-Shi who is the most powerful at the village. She is hurt by a rumor saying that she is dissolute. The women in the village become extremely angry but does not excuse herself at all. She is nominated a leading prayer at the memorial service of Deok-Jung who died of drowning in the waters. At the exorcism to invite spirit of dead man at the boat, she insists her chastity with tears. Her husband suspects relation between his wife and Ji, so that he kill Ji pressing his neck and throws his corpse into the sea. She also does not say the truth to the end. She removes her clothes one by one as if she blamed their concepts that make her a puppet, and then throws herself to the sea.
