At the end of Yi-Dynasty, Ar master's only daughter, Suk-Hyang visits Jung-Dong master's house secretly. He let her stay in his house after hearing her situation. In spite of his dissuading, his only son Yeong-Beom returned from overseas study and tries to participate in the anti-Japanese resistance. In no time, Yung-Beom fall in love with Suk-Hyang, and Yun-Yun who was raped by Hak-Jin informs the fact to her older brother Hyeon-Su. Suk-Hyang drives out Hak-Jin who invaded her room, but she is falsely accused. Thus she kills herself. On that day, Yeong-Beom wounded at the battle against the Japanese soldiers, dies on the way of escaping from their chase.
